WORKFORCE
In conjunction with the newly-approved Soccer Stadium legislation, CBCC was successful in obtaining over $437,000 over the next three years (2015-2018) for a new Workforce Intermediary to be dedicated to serve ANC 6D residents. The Workforce Intermediary will work closely with CBCC to identify non-profit training and workforce development programs and providers to match residents to new jobs created by recent development in the community, including the new DC United Soccer Stadium in Buzzard Point.
