Gail Fast served on the Carrollsburg Board of Directors from 2008–2014, the last five years as President. Gail was a member of the Southwest Small Area Plan Advisory Group that worked closely with the Office of Planning to help draft, the Southwest Small Area Plan (SAP). Gail was also a founding member of the National Volunteer Fire Councils’ (NVFC) Work Group and worked closely with the NVFC to develop and implement initiatives for their innovative Heart-Healthy Firefighter Program. Ms. Fast holds a master’s degree from Trinity College in Health Promotion Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maryland. In 2014, Gail presented at the 2014 BOMA Conference in Orlando, FL on how implementing health and wellness initiatives results in tenant retention.
